Hang Du is a second-year Ph.D. student at UC Irvine. He earned B.Sc Computer Science from Jilin University in China. He started M.S. Software Engineering program in 2021 and then continued to pursue his academic journey in the Ph.D. Software Engineering program from 2022. Hang’s research interest primarily revolve around testing, specifically about mutation testing, dynamic analysis, and program comprehension. Hang’s past work includes understanding how mutation testing works, and uncovering propagation effects of faults based on RIPR (Reachability, Infection, Propagation and Reveal) model.
